Welcome to Prestige Removals. We’re a small (but growing), locally-run removals company, built on care, trust and a genuine commitment to doing right by people. Moving home or clearing a property can feel overwhelming, but our job is to take that weight off your shoulders. Whether it’s a full house move, a simple clearance, or helping local authorities support those in need, we approach every job with the same level of respect and attention.

About Us

Prestige was founded by us - Mike and Rich, two friends who first worked together in care back in 2017. After years of supporting others in challenging situations, we were both ready for a new chapter. We wanted to build something of our own that still used the qualities we had developed in care: strength, dedication, organisation and, most importantly, compassion.

What began as a straightforward removals service soon grew into something more meaningful. We quickly realised how well our background in care had prepared us for this industry.  Moving is stressful for almost everyone, and supporting people through major life events was something we were already used to.  

 

It turned out to be a happy accident that we could use those same skills to guide people through a different kind of transition. Along the way, we also saw the need for trauma-informed moves and began working closely with local authorities to support people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. This has become a part of our work that we are especially proud of.


Day to day, Rich is the brains of the operation. He uses his social skills and problem-solving to smooth out the logistical challenges every move brings. Mike brings the muscle to the team, finally putting his years of weight training to practical use. He takes pride in tackling the heavy lifting, making sure even the bulkiest items are moved safely and efficiently. He is also a meticulous organiser, so you can rest assured that your move is in good hands.


At Prestige, we believe moving shouldn’t come with extra stress. With good planning, careful handling and a friendly approach, we aim to make the whole process feel easier.
